Face-to-face services restart update for groups

We know that, with the gradual easing of lockdown, a number of groups are keen to restart their face-to-face services, and are awaiting guidance on how to do this.

Where are we now?

So far, only England has announced a clear pathway out of lockdown. Once the devolved nations’ governments have also announced their lockdown-easing plans (and we’ve had time to fully understand them) we’ll be able to share our plans for supporting groups (if they wish) to restart their services safely.

Subject to government announcements, we hope to share our plans for all nations with you in our next email on 26 March. In the meantime, we’re busy updating our risk-management systems and paperwork, to ensure they’re COVID safe. We anticipate restarting services in a staggered way, by service type - with the first type being one-to-one services delivered by professionals through Service Level Agreements.

Supporting you to restart

We’ll be organising a number of Zoom sessions after Easter to support those groups who wish to restart face-to-face services to understand the new processes and paperwork. As some groups may wish to wait until later in the year before restarting face-to-face services, we’ll run these sessions for as long as necessary. Look out for details of the Zoom sessions, and how you can join them, in our next email on 26 March.
